Grimaldi Lines is pleased to inform  all companies involved into transportation, logistics and shipping activities from and to Morocco, that commencing  next friday 15th July an implementation on the Barcelona – Tangier – Barcelona line will take place; deploying M/v Finneagle, the service will offer two weekly departures from each port. In addition, thanks to transhipping possibilities offered by the Grimaldi network, Tangier will be connected to Livorno, Civitavecchia and Savona on two weekly service basis, according to following itinerary:

Grimaldi Lines has chosen to deploy a RoPax vessel on this line, i.e. Finneagle, with 2,500 linear meters of rolling cargo equivalent to 170 trucks. Such capacity will ensure that, even during high season peaks, boarding priority to all logistics operators will be confirmed. In addition, the vessel can accommodate 600 passengers per departure.

The deployment of this new unit proves the strong determination of Grimaldi Lines to promote freight and passenger connections from Europe to North Africa, through the performance of a regular line dedicated above all to cargo service. As it is known during this time of the year, siginficant restrictions to cargo handling are active and as a result delays due to the high number of passengers; Grimaldi Lines instead sets itself apart favoring cargo activities even in high passenger peaks.
